At the Sale Moor Community Partnership and Community Learning Centre we can offer to help you in a number of ways. We always try and show people how to do things for themselves so they can access services on a drop in basis. However we also offer specific services:

One Stop Services: You can access the one-stop service 4 days a week (Opening times on the Home page). We can support and help you with welfare issues, utility problems, debt and financial problems, neighbourhood issues and much more. We can act as an advocate for you if needed. We also host monthly drop-in surgery’s with Trafford Housing Trust’s Customer Support Team (Mondays 10:30am-12:30pm). Call if you want to make an appointment as we usually do not have the drop in without at least one appointment booked in. You can also access the housing options websites and look for new properties in the local area.

Food Bank: We are a referral agency for the issuing of Food Bank vouchers. The local Food Bank at St. Francis is open on Mondays 12-2pm, however there are other options if you miss the local one on Monday.

Meeting room and centre hire: You can hire a small meeting room from £5/hr to the full Learning Centre space for £20/hr, although we do offer discounts to local groups and in some cases can offer it for free. We have a range of options for meeting spaces and can also offer “hot-desk” opportunities if you need a working space as an individual or as a business.

Photocopy, Scan and Fax: We have a colour printer, scanner, black & white copier and laser printer and a fax machine. It is also possible to do small print runs using our print equipment. Single copies are priced at 10p for b/w, 50p for colour. Discounts available for multiple copies and bulk.

Design & Web services: Often people need help creating a website, a leaflet, poster or just getting images ready for a print run. We have expert advice and support on hand to help you do a professional job. Please call ahead as an appointment may be required, charges apply although in some cases we can do this for free.

Sale Moor Source: We produce a quarterly magazine delivered to 2,000 homes in the local area. If you want to create an article, join our editorial and design team or just advertise in the magazine then contact us to find out more.

Street Art workshops and projects: We are very fortunate that we have one of Manchester’s first and finest street artists as part of our team. We can offer street art projects at the Community Learning Centre or at your venue with our artist leading the workshop/project. A standard 2 hour workshop for 15 people at the CLC is from £140.

Employment and Enterprise: Every Thursday we host a job club from 10am-1pm at the Community Learning Centre. You can get support with building a CV, applying for jobs, self-employment support and setting up in business advice. Please call ahead if you need specific 1-1 support.
