Welcome to the Sale Moor Community Partnership.

Your local charity working in and for the community of Sale Moor.

The charity exists to promote education, wellbeing, environmental improvement and prosperity for community benefit in Sale Moor. It started in 2001 with a focus on delivering a one-stop access point and a learning centre. Twenty years later the charity is still at the forefront of solving local issues.
The Covid crisis necessitated that we work on issues pertinent to the needs of the community. During 2020/2021 we became the lead point for Food Bank distribution and sought funding from Trafford Housing Trust and Forever Manchester (among others) to instigate meal schemes. We also provided lunch packs during the school holidays to children and young people in the community, Xmas meals with Thyme & Season Catering and Xmas presents with Bearly Loved and Brink.
The community is changing at a remarkable pace with new developments springing up and a major development due for completion on the Norris Road Shop Parade where the charity is based. It was due for completion by the end of 2020 but currently looks like mid-2022. We left our premises in April 2021 and currently work remotely in the community and through social media channels.
The Sale Moor Community Partnership provided a wide range of services to local residents and the wider community of Trafford and Manchester. The Covid crisis severely impacted on our ability to interact with the community and during a time when we were preparing to leave the shop parade space. We hope to be in our new venue by mid-2022 and doing all the things we do best for our community. For the time being we can offer support through our Facebook page and have a number of projects in progress.
