Welcome to the Sale Moor Community Partnership.

Your local charity working in and for the community of Sale Moor.

The charity exists to promote education, wellbeing, environmental improvement and prosperity for community benefit in Sale Moor. It started in 2001 with a focus on delivering a one-stop access point and a learning centre. Eighteen years later the charity is still at the forefront of solving local issues while providing a space for residents to develop themselves and projects that impact on the community.
The current Covid crisis has necessitated that we work on issues pertinent to the needs of the community. We have become the lead point for Food Bank distribution and have sought funding from Trafford Housing Trust and Forever Manchester (among others) to instigate a meal scheme (ends April 2021). We have also provided lunch packs during the school holidays to chidlren and young people in the community, Xmas meals with Thyme & Season Catering and Xmas presents with Bearly Loved and Brink.
The community is changing at a remarkable pace with new developments springing up and a major development due for completion on the Norris Road Shop Parade where the charity is based. It was due for completion by the end of 2020 but currently looks like the end of 2021. We are due to relocate in due course and we are currently re-shaping the charity’s aims accordingly.
The Sale Moor Community Partnership provides a wide range of services to local residents and the wider community of Trafford and Manchester. The Covid crisis has severely impacted on our ability to interact with the community and during a time when we were preparing to leave the shop parade space. For the time being we can offer support through our Facebook page and have a number of projects in progress.
